When
I became fifty I became increasingly concerned that I was aging and I did not know what to
do about it other than a facelift. I know now that my face was loosing muscle and tone and
slowly slipping south. I started searching the Internet for facial exercises and came
across quite a few of what I call the 'Oo Ah' type (making faces). I tried a few of the
examples but I knew that they were not going to be enough to make my face more youthful
looking. Then I found the FlexEffect web site. What attracted me to it was that Deb. made
so much sense; you had to be able to build muscle in your face by applying
resistance.
So I made up my mind to try it for a year and see what happened. I must admit that pulling
at the skin and muscle in my face and neck made me feel quite nervous, but I thought you
had to commit fully to get the proper results. I bought the DVD first and did those
exercises with a few I gathered from the message board for the first 5 months, after that
I got the book and added loads more (I do about 37 now, doubling on my problem areas). I'm
past the one-year mark now and intend to flex for the rest of my life, I want to carry on
building muscle and maintain what I've achieved. It takes time, flexing is not a quick
fix, but it does work, you just have to stick with it. I do 45 minutes a day split up into
morning and evening, 6 days a week.
Oh, and I thought that I ought to say that I was not paid for this. I bought the DVD and
book just like any other customer. Im just an ordinary person with determination and
you do need determination. So go for it!
