Why Get Certified?

The business of FlexEffect® offers you the opportunity of a lucrative home based business that you can easily build around the rest of your life.

FIA Certification demonstrates a formal commitment to yourself and to the clients you serve to continually expand your knowledge base in the dynamic field of Facialbuilding®.

To be FIA Certified means that you yourself have experienced the amazing results of this program. Your face, like a picture, speaks a thousand words. You will have hands-on personal knowledge of the ups and downs, plateaus and awkward stages that accompany at least a years worth of training. You will be proof of the results of FlexEffect® Facialbuilding® and what can be achieved. You have studied and have a thorough understanding of the facial structure, inclusive of all tissues (muscles and skin). You have passed exams that prove your comprehension of the program and how each exercise effects the face. You will have demonstrated correct technique and you will have been observed in your explanations of Why Get Certified? said technique.

Your clients will know that you are thoroughly educated in the FlexEffect®’s program. You will be trusted to teach a person to take their face into their own hands.

You do not need a degree, or have any specific background. You must, however, have the drive and passion to run your own business and whole-heartedly believe in what you are doing as well as make a commitment to constant education in the field of Facialbuilding®.

Certification Requirement

We are offering three (3) levels of Certification. This is to allow for “Flexers” to begin their training career sooner than later. An FIA Certified Trainer (the first level) will have a substantial amount of Facialbuilding® experience. We believe that practice makes perfect with regards to demonstration. You will notice that each level of certification requires additional time and experience as well as demonstrated expertise both in demonstration as well as knowledge. Each level will demonstrate a degree of expertise. The first level, for example, will show solid comprehension of the program. The second level: expertise in demonstration. The third: mastery of the program, demonstration and exemplary knowledge of affected anatomy. A person needs experience working with individuals in order to streamline his/her training sessions; as well as learning how to answer the most challenging, yet common questions. Additionally, all FIA Certified Trainers are expected to continually expand on their knowledge base in the dynamic field of Facialbuilding®.

FIA Certified Trainer:

· One year of self-training* (self training is defined as working with the complete program as taught in the FE Book.)

· Completed at least 3 months of FIA Certified Trainers Forum Workshop Training as a trainee (asking questions, sharing experiences etc…) – You must submit for qualification (Submissions for all qualifications is done through our Certification Coordinator)

· Passing Score on FIA Certified Trainer Exam – administered online

· Six (6) months self-training.

· Completed at least 3 months of FIA Certified Trainers Forum Workshop Training (trainee) – You must submit for qualification.

· Verified instruction from a Master Trainer (Scheduled separately with a Master Trainer.) Your training is to include instruction of the Complete program.

· Passing Score on FIA Certified Trainer Exam – administered online.

FIA Technical Certified Trainer:

· Holds an FIA Certified Trainer Certification.

· An additional year self-training.

· Participates as a Qualifying Trainer on the FIA Certified Trainers Forum Workshop for at least 3 months* (trainer - Providing online support to Flexers, answering questions, preparing materials, breaking down exercises) – You must submit for qualification thru our Certification Coordinator.

· Passing Evaluation of the complete program demonstration from FE**
(Scheduled through our Certification Coordinator)

· Two years of self-training*

· Participates as a Qualifying Trainer on the FIA Certified Trainers Forum Workshop for at least 3 months* (trainer) – You must submit for qualification thru our Certification Coordinator.

· Passing Score on FIA Certified Trainer Exam – administered online.

· Passing Evaluation of the complete program demonstration from FE**
(Scheduled through our Certification Coordinator).

FIA Master Trainer:

· 2 years as an FIA Technical Certified Trainer.

· Passing score on FIA Master Trainer Exam – administered online. .

*Extended education in areas regarding the face and facial muscles will be considered for substitution of self-training and forum participation.

**For those unable to travel to FlexEffect for training or evaluation: You will be allowed to submit a video of yourself demonstrating the exercises for evaluation and approval.

Fee Schedule for Certification

Fees are payable, as defined below, by each level. Half is due as you begin a qualifying session, and the remaining half due at the time of certification. You may work your way through each level only paying for the level that you are working on. You may go at your own pace as long as you have met the qualifications for each level. However, if you are grand fathered into a level due to FIA’s acceptance of your professional experience or educational background, you will still be responsible for the fees at the previous level.

Basic One-Time Fees:

FIA Certified Trainer $1000.00 ($500.00 Due at the time of qualifying)

FIA Technical Certified Trainer $ 250.00 ($125.00 Due at the time of qualifying)

FIA Master Trainer $ 500.00

Total: $1750.00*

Additional Expenses you may incur (not inclusive of typical business expense, bus. Cards, stationary etc.):

FE Training with a Master $ varies depending on trainer

Additional attempts at Online FE Exam $ 30.00 each

Annual Renewal $ 250.00 (regardless of your level)

Upon your First Certification regardless of the level you enter at:

Your annual renewal allows you to maintain the benefits of your original certifications: An online presence, Limited usage of the FE Logo, access to excellent training and marketing tools… etc

Code of Ethics

In addition to a contract, you will be asked to sign a code of ethics. It is important to us at FIA to maintain positive business practices.

As an Independent FIA Certified Trainer

I will conduct myself with integrity and uphold the values of FlexEffect® International.

I understand that FlexEffect® has developed a reputation that is of great value and which must be utilized for the benefit of its clients. I therefore agree that I will not utilize the name, FlexEffect® without exclusive permission from FIA and will not engage in any deceptive, unlawful, or unethical consumer practice that may be detrimental or reflect poorly on FlexEffect® International, the Facial Building industry or me.

I will thoroughly learn the FlexEffect® Facial Resistance Training Program and present it to my Clients, realistically and without misleading or providing false expectations. Any claims, representations or statements I make regarding FlexEffect® will be those included in FlexEffect® literature as provided by FlexEffect®.

I will treat my business like any other prestigious enterprise and will fulfill commitments I make to my Clients, fellow trainers and associates

I will abide by local, state and federal laws that govern my independent business. I understand that it is my responsibility to comply with these laws, the laws of my industry and with FlexEffect®'s Policies and Procedures as they may be amended from time to time.

Definitions and Some Q&A

Fees… How can I pay?	Fees are in US Dollars. They are payable by credit card, check, money order and soon Paypal.
Online Exams.. Can’t a person Cheat?	Many people will ask how taking a test online proves proficiency… and say that a person could use their book and all of their resources. This is true… We are concerned most with the fact that a person can come to the correct answer. Our exams are tough! Asking a lot of intricate details. Ultimately we want an individual to be able to respond properly to their clients. Our tests will be timed showing that answers can be gotten to quickly if necessary.
Qualifying in Workshop…What does that mean?	To qualify for any training status means you will actively participate on the Workshop forum. Your Avatar will be altered to reflect your status. Qualifying for the First Level of FIA Certified Trainer - You will be expected to ask questions and answer simple questions. Qualifying for the Technical Certified Trainer -You will be expected to answer technical questions and you will be asked to post a lesson on at least one of the FE exercises.

Some Final Thoughts

The FIA Certification Program is in its infancy stage. We anticipate as the program grows there will be changes. We will keep all of our trainers current on any changes. Our website will also reflect any changes.
